Dollar bill through coin magic trick
I see three versions of this: cigarette through a coin, dollar bill through a coin, or pencil through a coin. My personal preference is to use a rolled dollar bill and put it through the coin. It tends to look better than a rigid pencil going through. I don't smoke, so I have no cigarettes.The basic trick is to take a quarter (or a half dollar) and a borrowed dollar bill. The dollar bill is rolled tightly and rubbed against the face of the quarter. Then the miracle happens and it penetrates the quarter. The spectator clearly sees the dollar penetrating the coin. The dollar is removed-- and there is no hole in the coin.
